Two MG Models Debut At Riyadh Motor Show

British brand MG Motor made a statement at the 2023 Riyadh Motor Show, which runs until December 9. The highlight was the world premiere of the MG Whale – an SUV-coupe model that boasts a whale-inspired grille and oval-shaped vertical lights at the rear. Indoors, it features a 12.3-inch curved panoramic screen, Nappa leather seats, and an uncluttered dashboard layout. The petrol-powered model will be launched in the Middle East before 2023 comes to a close.

The other MG model that grabbed attention was the MG7, making its regional debut. Scheduled to go on sale in March next year, the car features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a multifunction three-spoke steering wheel, triangle-shaped headlights and a body-wide taillight.

MG has also displayed several other models from its global portfolio at the Riyadh Motor Show. The list includes MG HS PHEV, ZS EV, RX5, MG GT and the recently introduced MG One. And for the extra something, a custom-made MG T60 is also present.

Kia K3 Debuts In The Middle East At Riyadh Motor Show

At the Riyadh Motor Show in Saudi Arabia, Kia Middle East and Africa premiered the all-new K3. Making its regional debut, the sedan first broke cover in August this year. The Korean carmaker confirms that the K3 will be available in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The model comes packed with features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and LED DRLs. Besides that, the car has many safety and driver assistance systems, such as Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Warning, front and rear parking sensors and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist.

Alongside the new K3 sedan, the EV6, EV9, K8 HEV, K5 HEV, Seltos and Sportage are also on display at the Riyadh Motor Show, which runs until December 9, 2023.

Audi, Al Nabooda Automobiles Celebrate 52nd UAE Union Day

On December 2, 2023, the UAE will celebrate its 52nd Union Day. And to mark the occasion, Audi and its authorised dealer in the country, Al Nabooda Automobiles, have created something unique. An Audi Q8 was presented to Emirati artist Faris Al Hammadi to give it an artwork that encapsulates the nation’s heritage and culture, past and present.

The finished specimen is now on display at Al Nabooda’s Dubai showroom. It will wow onlookers until December 8, 2023.

Dubai Police Welcomes A McLaren Artura

To boost the UAE’s commitment towards furthering collaboration between government bodies and the private sector, Dubai Police has announced a partnership with McLaren Dubai, Performance Tuning L.L.C., part of the Juma Khalifa Al Nabooda Group. Under this collaboration, the enforcement entity has added a McLaren Artura to its famous fleet of exotic patrol cars.

The McLaren Artura is a plug-in hybrid supercar that debuted in the UAE late last year. Underpinned by a McLaren Carbon Fibre Lightweight Architecture, the two-seater speed machine packs a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6, an electric motor and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The total system output is 671hp/720Nm, which is enough for a 0-100kmph sprint time of 3 seconds. Keep the throttle pinned to the floor, and the car will hit 200kmph and 300kmph in 8.3 seconds and 21.5 seconds, respectively. On electric power alone, the McLaren Artura can travel up to 31km (WLTP).

Limited Edition RS Q8 Celebrates 40 Years Of Audi Sport

Audi and Al Nabooda Automobiles, the authorised dealer of Audi in the UAE, are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Audi Sport with 40 uniquely customised Audi RS Q8 models. Those have been categorised under the tag “40 Jahre Edition”.

Of the 40 units on offer, 20 are the Bronze Montecarlo Edition. Inside the cabin, this derivative has Alabaster White accents, Havana Brown stitching, coloured seatbelts and black leather-draped controls. Also, customers will get ventilated seats with a massage function, a head-up display, Audi Exclusive leather and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The other 20 celebratory Audi RS Q8 units are called Java Green Edition. Its striking green exterior is complemented by a Jet Get interior theme with Iguana Green stitching. It also features black carbon details, and 23-inch 5-Y Spoke Rotor rims. Performance Pirelli tyres and Audi’s Advanced Suspension package round off the special treatment.

Audi India Announces Price Hike Across Range

Audi India has announced that from January 1, 2024, prices of its models will increase by up to 2 per cent. Why? Due to the rise in input and operational costs.

Audi India is well underway to round off 2023 on a strong note. In the first nine months (Jan-Sep), it posted a growth of 88 per cent. Also, by the end of the year, the carmaker aims to have two more Audi Approved: plus (pre-owned car business) outlets, pushing the total to 27.
