For its 25th anniversary, the Audi TT gets an exclusive Iconic Edition

This special series will be produced at 100 units and will only concern the RS model

The Audi TT is currently in its final year on the market. As iconic as it is, the coupé will be retired in 2024 and replaced by a new, fully electric model which could be an SUV. For the time being, the TT is celebrating its 25th anniversary. A very exclusive limited series called Iconic Edition will soon join the brand’s catalogue.

Produced in only 100 units for Europe, the Iconic Edition will only be available on the TT RS, the sportiest model in the range. On the outside, the Iconic Edition is aggressive, with Nardo Grey paintwork taken directly from the majestic R8. The air intakes, flaps, side skirts, rear wing and diffuser are all made of visible carbon fibre.

The car is fitted with 20-inch forged black alloy wheels and black brake callipers. On board, there are beautiful Alcantara bucket seats with yellow stitching. The same stitching is recurrent in the interior of the TT RS Iconic Edition as it also appears on the centre console, the door panels, the dashboard cap and the steering wheel. The floor mats and seats also feature the RS Iconic Edition logo.

In terms of equipment, the Iconic Edition has everything from Matrix LED headlights to OLED taillights and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

It’s only when you lift the bonnet that you notice any difference from a standard TT RS. The TT RS Iconic Edition retains the melodious 2.5-litre five-cylinder with 400 PS and 480 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the ground via the Quattro all-wheel drive system and the 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission. With this equipment, the coupé does 0 to 100 kph in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 280 kph. The Audi TT RS Iconic Edition will be available for order from 2023.
