The Monterey Car Week played host to some of the most exclusive car unveilings this year. Porsche auctioned its one-off Sally Special sports car. Koenigsegg showcased its CC850 megacar to celebrate its 20th anniversary. And Italian carmaker Maserati made its presence felt with the North American debut of its open-top sports car called the MC20 Cielo.
The 630hp convertible wasn’t the only offering on display by the “House of Maserati” at Pebble Beach. Accompanying it was the hardtop coupe iteration of the MC20, along with the new Grecale Trofeo performance SUV. While these models comprised Maserati’s current stable, the brand brought along some of its historic and iconic models, such as the 2000 Gran Sport and the 1600 Berlinetta.
Guests of the Italian marquee were treated in typical Italian ‘La Dolce Vita’ hospitality along with the option to experience the audio performance of Sonus faber sound system, one of the Modena automaker’s partners.
