To celebrate Alfa Romeo’s return to the big market and link the modern production cars to the rich heritage of the House of Visconti in touring car racing, Stellantis Heritage has created and developed the 4C—Collezione GT “Nicola Larini” project. This project will feature three models based on the supercar that brought the Italian brand back to the United States in 2014. It celebrates the close connection between Alfa Romeo and Nicola Larini, the 1993 Touring Car Champion with the Alfa Romeo 155V6 TI.
Today, the project was launched, with Nicola Larini meeting Alessandro Ravera, Stellantis Heritage’s Special Vehicle Operations Manager, and Alessandro Maccolini, current Alfa Romeo Design Project Manager and C4 designer, to highlight the car’s exclusive look and provide a fascinating preview of these three collector’s items.
The decision to recall the 4C was no coincidence. Nicola Larini has always admired this car, appreciating qualities only a professional driver can understand, such as its lightness, speed, responsiveness, and grip. With its bold, streamlined design inspired by Alfa Romeo icons of the past, the 4C sports car has a special place in the hearts of lovers of excellence. Equipped with two bucket seats, rear-wheel drive, and a mid-mounted engine, it remains impressive for a compact sports car today, loved by Alfa Romeo enthusiasts worldwide. The three exclusive 4C “Nicola Larini” vehicles were produced as part of the Stellantis Heritage “Reloaded by Creators” programme, resulting from modifications to pre-existing cars.
More precisely, the three attractive colours significantly affect their appearance. The 4C – Collezione GT “Nicola Larini” is inspired by the original colours of the iconic Giulia GT from the 1970s and comes in Pine Green, Plum Red, and Ochre Yellow, all enhanced by white accents on the front and rear bumpers.
These three vibrant colours emphasise the sculptural shape of the Alfa Romeo supercar. They are enhanced by including Nicola Larini’s signature and the brand’s logo on the dashboard – two names linked to each other over the years – while the wheels are made of alloys painted to match the car’s colour.
Dedicated to collectors and fans of the brand worldwide, the Alfa Romeo 4C “Nicola Larini” is already available to order and will be produced, certified, and sold directly by the Stellantis Heritage Department.
