What changes are coming for Automechanika Dubai in 2026?
The 2026 edition of Automechanika Dubai is scheduled to be held at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai from 10–12 November 2026. This will be the first edition to be held at the new venue, following 22 successful editions at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Messe Frankfurt Middle East organises the event with support from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI). The event will showcase the latest advancements in the automotive aftermarket industry.
What facilities are available at Dubai Exhibition Centre?
Dubai Exhibition Centre provides access to Dubai Metro via the Expo 2020 station. The centre has more than 10,000 parking spaces.
Its location enables users to connect with transport and logistics infrastructure nodes such as Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), and Dubai South. These connections are important for manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and other businesses involved in international automotive supply chains.
What is happening with the aftermarket in the Middle East and Africa region?
Based on a forecast by Glasgow Research and Consulting, the event organisers say the automotive aftermarket in the Middle East and Africa may reach USD 87 billion in 2034, growing at 7% annually.
The region will see greater vehicle diversity. Traditional internal combustion engine-powered vehicles will remain an important part of the total fleet, although more hybrid, electric, and connected vehicles will be present in the region.
This means there will be impacts across several areas of the aftermarket, including replacement parts, vehicle diagnostics, workshop equipment, technical training, and servicing and repair needs.
What will be exhibited at the 2026 event?
Automechanika Dubai 2026 is expected to feature over 1,200 exhibitors representing more than 50 countries. Participating companies include Hella, Meyle, Hanon Systems and HL Mando.
The event will feature 11 automotive aftermarket product sectors. These sectors include parts & components, electrical & electronic systems, tyres & wheels, batteries & technologies, diagnostics & service equipment, car care & detailing, and digital solutions & services.
The event will also include other industry activities such as conferences, training, exhibitions, awards, presentations, contests, and more. The event will feature at least 20 content-related features and activations.
What topics will the event’s industry programmes cover?
Several programmes will run alongside the event, including Aftermarket Central, Innovation4Mobility, Fleet FWD, LABX, and Modern Workshop.
Other activities will include Training & Development, AfriConnections, Grand Tour Challenges, the Automechanika Dubai Awards and the IBIS @ Automechanika Dubai conference.
These courses will cover vehicle technology, mobility, fleet management, logistics, workshops, and automotive aftermarket business models. The materials will also include technical changes related to hybrid cars, electric cars and connected cars.
How international is Automechanika Dubai?
According to the organisers, in 2025 it attracted participants from 161 countries and exhibitors from 63 countries. The 2026 version of the event is also likely to be attended by international representatives coming from markets in Asia, Europe and CIS countries.
The event will involve manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, workshop specialists, fleet managers and buyers. This will give participants the opportunity to get acquainted with materials and products from various fields of the automotive aftermarket and vehicle technologies.
