Al-Futtaim, Lexus’ official distributor, has launched the 2025 MY range of the flagship LX Series in the UAE, introducing the first-ever LX 700h hybrid and the off-road-focused LX 600 Overtrail.
Hybrid performance: Twin-turbo 3.5L V6 and e-motor make 457 hp and 790 Nm of torque
The LX 700h features a new parallel hybrid system that upholds the LX’s reliability, durability, and off-road capability while embracing electrification. It pairs a motor generator, powered by a nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery, with a clutch between the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission. This setup retains full-time 4WD, a low-range transfer case, and a torque converter-equipped transmission, ensuring optimal power delivery. The e-motor torque enhances responsiveness, especially off-road. With 457 hp and 790 Nm of torque, it’s the most powerful LX yet, achieving a 22% CO₂ reduction. A 98-litre fuel tank ensures an extended driving range.
