The strategy focuses on expanding its SUV lineup across several segments with various powertrain technologies.
When Will the New Generation of the Jeep Renegade Arrive?
Jeep confirmed it will release a new generation of the Renegade by 2030. The vehicle will help solidify Jeep’s position in Europe’s compact SUV sector and broaden its appeal to more customers.
Since its inception in 2014 until today, there have been 610,000 sales of the Jeep Renegade in Europe. The model’s return is part of Jeep’s efforts to build a range of compact cars while maintaining its features and design elements.
How Does Jeep Expand Its Range Of European SUVs?
Jeep hopes to add up to six models in Europe by 2030 to serve the B-SUV, C-SUV, and D-SUV markets.
Jeep Avenger serves the B-SUV market, while Jeep Compass targets the C-SUV market. The Recon, along with one new addition, will cover the D-SUV market from 2028 onward.
The new range of models is projected to enable the company to cover almost 90% of the European SUV market by 2030. However, it is not clear when the new model range will be fully revealed.

How Does Jeep Perform in Europe?
Jeep says it has already sold nearly 300,000 Avengers. As for the Renegade, it has achieved more than 610,000 sales in Europe since 2014.
Compact SUVs play an important role in Jeep’s regional portfolio. In addition, the Compass remains a crucial part of the C-SUV plan, while the Recon and one more 2028 model will add more products to Jeep’s larger SUV lineup.
What Powertrains Will Jeep Offer?
Electrification will be part of the company’s future strategy for compact models designed for both urban use and long trips. Jeep engineers have also referenced historic cars like the Willys in the design of future models.
Will Each Jeep Model Have the 4×4 Version?
According to Jeep, every future model in its lineup will have a 4×4 version. This strategy should keep the brand’s portfolio focused on the 4×4 driving experience, regardless of powertrain size or type.
The company has not announced details on the systems, equipment, or availability of individual 4×4 versions for future models, such as the next-gen Renegade and an additional D-SUV.

What are the Launch Dates and Pricing?
Jeep has laid out its roadmap, including another D-SUV in 2028, the next-gen Renegade, and a European lineup of up to six models in 2030. The Recon will also be one of the models in the future lineup under the D-SUV range.
Until October 2026, Jeep has not revealed any pricing information or specifications of the future models. Thus, USD price predictions for the upcoming Jeep models remain unconfirmed.
