Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled the Cullinan Spirit of Marassi, a unique creation inspired by the Mediterranean coastline, Egyptian craftsmanship and regional culture. This Bespoke design was developed for Rolls-Royce by Private Office Dubai.
The project was developed as part of The Spirit of Marassi, Egypt’s first summer residency on the North Coast. Following its unveiling, a prospective client expressed interest and began the process of commissioning their own one-of-one Cullinan.

How does the design incorporate Egypt’s Mediterranean coastline?
The central design feature is the hand-painted fascia, which takes inspiration from the waves and colours of the Mediterranean Sea.
This artistic element features a combination of colours, including off-white, vibrant teal and navy, representing the coastal waters. The design showcases a range of painting and lacquering techniques, complemented by a glossy finish that transitions into open-pore Royal Walnut wood.
The combination of colours and materials represents the interaction between the sea and the shoreline, incorporating elements of Egypt’s North Coast into the vehicle’s interior design.
Why is there a turquoise rotary dial?
Another distinctive feature of the interior is the bespoke turquoise rotary dial, inspired by Sinai turquoise, a precious stone with a long history in Egypt.
Turquoise was valued by the ancient Egyptians for its distinctive colour, decorative qualities and symbolic significance. Its inclusion represents another bespoke detail inspired by Egypt’s natural treasures and cultural heritage.
How does the embroidery incorporate traditional Egyptian craftsmanship?
Both the front and rear seats feature embroidered motifs inspired by Khayamiya, a traditional Egyptian craft that originated in Cairo’s historic Souk El-Khayamiya.
The craft is renowned for its hand-appliquéd stitching techniques, rich colours, and geometric and floral patterns. In this creation, the designers have reinterpreted traditional textile patterns through embroidery, bringing them into a contemporary automotive interior.
The decoration creates a connection between Egypt’s traditional craftsmanship and the regional artistic influences reflected throughout the Cullinan’s interior.

Who developed the Cullinan Spirit of Marassi?
The design was developed by Rolls-Royce Private Office Dubai, which works with clients to create highly personalised Bespoke vehicles.
The project was the result of research into Egypt’s North Coast and the region’s natural and artistic environment. Original artworks created by the Lead Designer at Private Office Dubai helped establish the direction of the design development.
According to Michelle Lusby, Lead Designer at Private Office Dubai, the concept was designed to combine the atmosphere of the Mediterranean coastline with Egyptian artistic culture.
Private Office Dubai operates as an extension of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ headquarters in Goodwood, UK. It gives clients the opportunity to work directly with designers to create bespoke vehicles tailored to their individual specifications, including their choice of materials, finishes and personal design details.
What does the project tell us about Rolls-Royce Bespoke?

What are the pricing and availability details?
The Cullinan Spirit of Marassi was unveiled on 2 November 2026 as a one-of-one Bespoke concept. Rolls-Royce has not yet released information regarding its price, production or delivery.
