Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica launched in India at INR 4.04 crore

The Tecnica sits right between the base Huracan Evo and the track-spec STO

The Lamborghini Huracan has been the baby Lambo for nearly a decade now. Last year, Lamborghini introduced the Huracan STO – the most track-focused Huracan in India, leaving a huge gap between it and the standard Huracan Evo. And bridging this gap is Lamborghini’s latest iteration of the Huracan – the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica.

Lamborghini has launched this mid-spec Huracan at a price of INR 4.04 crores. The Huracan Tecnica offers a lot more than being a mere middle ground. A brand new front end inspired by the Sian hypercar, a new fixed spoiler, and a tweaked rear end for advanced aerodynamics comprise some of the exterior enhancements in this versatile sports car. Here’s Shivaum Punjabi taking you through the new updates that can be found on the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica.

The Tecnica borrows its powertrain from its elder sibling, the STO. The 640hp 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine gets mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The power gets delivered via the rear wheels, which can also steer either way. Carbon ceramic brakes are offered as standard. The Huracan Tecnica can blast off to 100kph from a standstill within 3.2secs and achieve a 325kph top speed.

The cabin comes brimmed with carbon fibre, as seen previously in the STO. It gets a distinctive seat design and all the modern creature comforts such as smartphone connectivity and climate control for the car to be driven daily. The Tecnica even features onboard telemetry for track driving analysis for thoroughbred enthusiasts.
