Hyundai Just Revealed The Latest Generation Of Palisade

The full-size SUV seats nine passengers.

Hyundai has made significant changes to the design of the next-generation Palisade, with the gas-powered flagship family car looking more sculpted and sitting on 21-inch wheels.

The pixelation has been applied to Hyundai’s electric lineup, including the recently revealed Ioniq 9. The massive rectangles up front are likely the daytime running lights. and although the car is not electric, the ventilation grille, with its somewhat strange design, seems to be torn between the need to cool the mechanical components through its openings and enhancing the car’s aerodynamics, but apart from that, it hosts a thin LED strip that runs across its top.

The Hyundai Palisade has a longer wheelbase and a slightly shorter front overhang than before. It still has a dual sunroof for higher-priced models.

The exhaust is hidden beneath the bumper at the back, while the spaces are hidden beneath the roof spoiler. Unlike most Hyundai models, the taillights look much like the daytime running lights and don’t extend to the tailgate. The HTRAC badge is missing, but all-wheel drive will be available for the second-generation Palisade.

Inside, there are dual 12.3-inch displays positioned within the dashboard, and we can easily see the separate climate controls along with other radio/multimedia buttons and knobs, as well as shortcuts to specific functions. The gear selector has been moved from the centre console to the steering column.

The large partition between the front seats, which has 100-watt USB-C charging ports, cup holders, and a multi-function wireless charging pad, can be lifted to create a third seat, so the new Hyundai Palisade can carry up to nine people.

The Palisade ditches the H badge on the steering wheel. Instead, the four dots represent the letter “H” in Morse code. There’s also soft ambient lighting to create a cosy atmosphere.

Technical specifications have yet to be available, and complete details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
