The self-driving robocar is here. To be precise, American AI company Tensor shall be showcasing the Earth’s first personal Robocar at the ongoing GITEX Global 2025, taking place between October 13–17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Equipped with the fully autonomous driving capabilities of Level 4, the Tensor Robocar is the world’s first volume-produced autonomous robocar with L4 autonomy designed specifically for private ownership at scale and emphasizes the mission of “Owning your autonomy”.

The Tensor Robocar boasts over 100 integrated sensors that offer full 360-degree awareness with added significance to radar-transparent materials as well as adaptive thermal systems for seamless travel and heightened safety while at it.
Additionally, Tensor aims to distance itself from other RoboTaxis by guaranteeing total control over its occupants’ personal data. Instead of corporate data collection performed by services like RoboTaxis – which collects and controls the user’s data, Tensor provides on-board data sovereignty, ensuring all personal data stays within the car.
At its core, the Robocar features an intelligent operating system called the Tensor Foundation Model. Built on millions of real and simulated scenarios that allow the vehicle to see, think, and act with awareness, the system continuously learns, interprets its surroundings, anticipates movements, and learns to respond to them in real time.

Tensor further benefits from certified software affiliations with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure powers large-scale training and simulation, while NVIDIA provides the advanced computing that drives real-time decision-making inside every vehicle. Furthermore, as another world first, Tensor has partnered with Marsh to define an insurance model for personal Robocars. Together, these collaborations aid Tensor’s mission of making autonomous driving safer and reliable for the masses.
“The Self-Driving Congress was the beginning of a dialogue, and what we witnessed in Dubai went far beyond curiosity. It was genuine excitement and belief that the era of personal autonomous mobility is here,” said Amy Luca, Chief Marketing Officer at Tensor. “GITEX is where that belief grows stronger. Dubai is a place that doesn’t just showcase innovation; it lives it. Our journey here continues because this city understands what it means to build the future with purpose. Tensor is more than technology; it is a movement that brings people, safety, and intelligence together in one shared language.”
The ongoing GITEX Global 2025 marks the second instance the Tensor RoboCar was showcased to the public. The Tensor Robocar made its UAE debut at the Self-Driving Congress in Dubai last month.
