Bugatti unveils the 1800hp Tourbillon hypercar in the Middle East
While Bugatti is renowned for offering the highest degree of automotive excellence with its cars, the Middle East is renowned to house the world's most discerning connoisseurs and enthusiasts. It was only fitting that Bugatti debuted its latest innovation - the Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar in Qatar at an exclusive event for the refined and passionate citizens of the region. Konstantinos Psarris, Regional Director, Middle East & Asia, Bugatti, said: “The Bugatti Tourbillon marks a new incomparable era of our marque, a testament to our commitment to crafting art that transcends time. Bringing Bugatti’s new era defining car to Doha allows us to share this vision with a country that deeply appreciates French luxury and matches our avant-garde spirit and cutting-edge innovations.”
The new Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar carries a bespoke 8.3-litre quad-turbocharged V16 engine at its heart, delivering an eye-watering 1800hp. This allows the Bugatti Tourbillon to pull the 0-100kph sprint in 2 seconds flat and go on to hit a top speed of 445kph, making it one of the fastest production cars in the world. The exterior of the Bugatti Tourbillon is inspired by the Type 57SC Atlantic and the Type 41 Royale - iconic Bugatti models of the past with modern aerodynamic implementations to a profile that drips of timeless elegance. The interior is crafted with hand-stitched leather upholstery, polished aluminium accents, and bespoke carbon fibre trims including an instrument cluster inspired by the movement of an automatic watch.
