Zenvo Aurora Launched Across The MENA Markets

Just 100 units are planned, evenly split between Agil and Tur derivatives.

When Zenvo unveiled the Aurora hypercar on the eve of Monterey Car Week last August, it shocked the automotive sphere with the model’s headlines. And how can such a speed machine not make it to the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region? That’s precisely what happened earlier this week when The Elite Cars, the Danish brand’s authorised distributor for the MENA markets, debuted Aurora at Atlantis The Royal in Dubai, UAE.

The Zenvo Aurora is limited to 100 units, evenly distributed between Agil and Tur variants. Although, ever since the bookings counter opened, nearly 50 per cent of the whole lot has already been accounted for.

Powering the Zenvo Aurora is a quad-turbocharged 6.6-litre V12, mated with an electric motor and a 7-speed transmission. In Agil form, the two-seater mid-engined car has 1,450hp/1,400Nm, which only goes to the rear wheels. That’s enough for the 1.3-tonne hypercar to complete the 0-100kmph sprint in 2.5 seconds. The estimated top speed is 365kmph. If that’s not enough, the 1.45-tonne (approx.) Tur variant can take things a notch above. With 1,850hp/1,700Nm and four-wheel-drive (courtesy of two additional electric motors), Zenvo estimates a 2.3-second standard sprint time and a top speed of 450kmph. Also, an electric-only drive up to 35km is possible.

An e-differential, underbody aerodynamics, a massive rear wing with an integrated air brake and carbon ceramic brakes ensure the Aurora is stable and tamable at high triple-digit speeds. And to keep the weight in check, Zenvo has kept the list of creature comforts to the bare basics.

The Zenvo Aurora will be hand-assembled at the brand’s headquarters in Præstø, Denmark. That process for both derivatives is expected to commence in 2025. The starting price of the lightest and most powerful car Zenvo has ever made is EUR 2.59 million. That translates to approximately AED 11-12 million. Team TCI got a chance to check out the Aurora in person. Here’s the video:
