Bugatti Grand Tour 2025 in Portugal Featured Three Rare Icons

Bugatti owners embarked on an unforgettable six-day Portuguese adventure, from the terraced vineyards of the Douro Valley to the breathtaking Serra da Estrela highlands and the sun-drenched Alentejo landscape. Eighteen exceptional Bugattis participated, ranging from a 2007 Veyron 16.4 to a 2025 pre-series Bugatti W16 Mistral. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport and Grand Sport Vitesse models, including the iconic “Transformers,” made a majestic appearance alongside the Divo, two Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, a pair of W16 Mistrals, and a Chiron Super Sport 300+. Three rare icons were also present: 1 of 20 “110 Ans Bugatti” Chiron, 1 of 3 Chiron L’Ébé Edition, and 1 of 10 Bugatti Centodieci.

On the first day, the luxurious Torel Quinta da Vacaria in Vilarinho dos Freires served as the main stage for the tour’s opening, with these cars covering over 1,000 kilometres, winding through some of the most stunning and challenging roads in the Iberian Peninsula.

On the second day, the 235-kilometre journey was as much about cultural immersion as it was about driving pleasure. It began with a private visit to the historic Quinta do Vesuvio—affectionately known as the “The Queen of the Douro,” followed by lunch at the panoramic Casa Redonda at Quinta das Carvalhas. In the evening, the group boarded traditional Portuguese rabelo boats.

Later, from river valleys to mountain peaks, the more than 230-kilometre route charted a captivating journey through the heart of Portugal, winding through the ancient stones of the Monastery of São João de Tarouca—the first Cistercian sanctuary in Portugal. There, the serene silence was gently broken by the arrival of the Bugatti Grand Tour, warmly welcomed by a local group in traditional Portuguese attire.

The following day, the longest and most spectacular journey of the Bugatti Grand Tour 2025 began with a morning ascent nearly to the summit of Torre da Estrela (1,993 m), followed by a descent through ever-changing landscapes, from snow-covered rocks to sun-drenched meadows in full spring bloom.

The Grand Tour concluded with an exclusive visit to the Circuito do Sol, a 3.5-kilometre private race track carved into the Alentejo terrain, inspired by the legendary curves of circuits like Spa-Francorchamps and Laguna Seca. Although not yet open to the public, Grand Tour participants were among the first to explore its challenging terrain. After a demonstration lap, the Bugatti cars took to the track at full power, allowing drivers to experience Bugatti’s full performance in a controlled environment. The evening concluded the Bugatti Grand Tour 2025 with a celebratory farewell dinner filled with joy and shared memories.
