Bentley has just launched the Design Theme by Mulliner, offering exclusive styling options for the Supersports model. The specification includes side-to-side paint fade, customised interior paint colours, and other features intended to differentiate the car from other Bentley models. The design package will make its debut at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Design Theme by Mulliner: What Is It?
The Design Theme by Mulliner refers to the styling options developed by Bentley for its Supersports range. The main feature of the design package is the side-to-side paint fade.
Bentley claims this is the first time the company has used a lateral paint-fade finish on the exterior of one of its production cars. In addition to the design theme, the car features a lateral accent stripe from the front to the rear that follows the passenger seat line in the cabin. It does not matter whether the car is left-hand- or right-hand-drive; the interior remains focused on the driver.
Other design elements include the number-eight grille graphic and pinstripes on the carbon fibre diffuser, fender blades, and sills.
What Colour Themes Are Available?
The Design Theme by Mulliner can be chosen in three predetermined combinations of exterior and interior finishes.
Dragon features a Dragon Red-to-Black Crystal exterior fade and a Hotspur & Beluga interior.
Electric includes Electric Blue to Dark Sapphire exterior with Klein Blue & Imperial Blue interior.
Brodgar uses the combination of Pale Brodgar with Brodgar on the outside, whereas Camel and Beluga leather are used on the inside.
Mulliner’s Bentley Supersports also offers custom colours to clients who want an alternative to the existing paint finish.
How Has the Interior Changed?
The Design Theme by Mulliner is not restricted to the exterior, as this car comes equipped with a two-seat interior cabin exclusive to the Supersports.
The interior design scheme in each package features a two-toned theme, with the lighter colour around the driver’s seat and the other side in a darker tone. There is also the Bentley’s Full Leather Specification and a special Supersports perforation design for the seats and door panels.
Other highlights include the contrast gear lever, contrasting stitching on the dashboard, and embroidered headrests.
What were the existing Supersports design themes?
Prior to the arrival of the Design Theme by Mulliner, there were two design themes for the Supersports named Level One and Level Two.
The specifications included a tri-colour interior, perforated Dinamica leather seats and doors, contrast stitching and embroidery, and a heated leather three-spoke steering wheel.
External modifications included glossy-black, diamond-machined 22-inch alloy wheels, body kit pinstriping, and door graphics, all on the Level One theme. The Level Two theme featured additional rear-quarter-panel stripes. The five colour options were Skies, Meteorite, Daybreak, Snowstorm, and Nightfall.
Where Will The New Design Theme Be Shown?
The Design Theme by Mulliner will have its debut at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. At the Bentley exhibition, which will take place opposite the Goodwood House, the Supersports will be accompanied by two models from Mulliner.
The price of the new Design Theme by Mulliner has not been disclosed yet. Delivery dates for the cars have also not been disclosed yet, but one thing is certain: the theme will be available only on the Bentley Supersports and will come with bespoke painting options from Mulliner. More details on ordering and pricing for the new Design Theme will be revealed through Bentley retailers after the car’s launch at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
