Mercedes-Benz Brand Centre In Dubai Is Stunning
It’s located in the Dubai Design District.
A visit to a car showroom is usually quite a dry affair. Sure, the brands have tried to uplift the experience over the years. But what Mercedes-Benz has done in the UAE will make going to a retail outlet an event. What you see here is called the Mercedes-Benz Brand Centre, located in the Dubai Design District. This has been developed by the German carmaker and its exclusive distributor in the UAE, Gargash Group.
As you’d expect from such an expansive facility, it has separate sections for almost everything. Leading from the front is an area dedicated to the most luxurious cars the automaker offers, which go by the name Mercedes-Maybach. Next to the display area is a ‘Maybach Lounge’, a section where buyers can customise or personalise their cars per their taste.
Those looking for the shouty stuff from Mercedes can head straight to the separate section devised for Mercedes-AMG. Adjacent to the AMG display space is the most spectacular part of this outlet – “The Car Wall”: a stacker system with space for 76 cars. Segregated sections for Mercedes-EQ and Mercedes-Benz models are also part of the premises.
Another noteworthy part of the outlet is the region’s first off-road driving adventure section. An upcoming academy will allow off-roading lovers to learn and push Mercedes-Benz SUVs on an engineered simulated track with challenging terrain conditions.
The Mercedes-Benz Brand Centre also houses a “Town Square”, a space for hosting exhibitions, seminars, entertainment and the arts. AMG Kaffeehaus, a café for refreshments, is also part of the facility. In addition, there are fifteen charging stations reserved for Mercedes-EQ models. Of them, four offer rapid charging speeds. Mercedes-Benz says that solar panels cover 25 per cent of the facility’s electricity requirements.
