New 2024 Škoda Karoq Makes Middle East Debut; Starts At AED 102,844 approx.

Škoda Middle East has introduced the refreshed Škoda Karoq to the Middle East region, bringing a blend of style and functionality to the compact crossover SUV segment. The latest Karoq features a robust 1.4 TSI engine producing 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque, along with exterior upgrades and a revamped, eco-friendly interior. It is available in Selection and Sportline trims, offering a mix of safety, style, and advanced technological options.

Exterior: Subtle changes; new bumper and hex’ grille; rim sizes from 17″ to 19″

The 2024 Škoda Karoq’s exterior gains subtle upgrades, including standard full LED headlights with fog lamps, enhancing visibility and presence. Full LED tail lights with dynamic rear indicators and animated Coming/Leaving Home function add sophistication. The Karoq also offers alloy wheels in 17, 18, and 19 inches, nine bold colors like Phoenix Orange and Graphite Grey, and a revamped design with new bumpers, hexagonal grille, and sleek roof spoiler for a modern look.

Interior: Optional 10.25″ instrumenation; ECO pack w/ recyclable seat covers

The new Karoq’s interior introduces several first-time features, highlighting Škoda’s focus on comfort and innovation. The Selection trim offers an ECO package with recyclable seat covers for sustainability. Optional electric seats with adjustable lumbar support and memory now extend to the front passenger, while new décors and covers enhance style. Technology includes a standard 8-inch digital display, an optional 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit, and a 9.2-inch infotainment screen with optional Area View and Trailer Assist. Ambient lighting, now on rear doors, and 2-zone air conditioning add to the cabin ambience.

Powertrain: Carryover 150 hp 1.4 TSI engine w/ 8-spd auto

The Karoq is powered by a 1.4 TSI engine, a carry over from last year. It produces a max. output of 150 hp between 5,000–6,000 rpm and 250 Nm of top torque between 1,500–4,000 rpm, which should provide a good compromise of power and efficiency. It combines a front-wheel drive layout with an 8-speed automatic transmission to help deliver smooth handling and fuel efficiency, the typical requirements of the Middle Eastern customer in this segment.

Trims & Pricing: Selection & Sportline trims; Starts at AED 102,844 approx.

The Škoda Karoq is offered in two trims: Selection and Sportline. The Selection trim includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with fog lamps, an 8-inch infotainment system with Active Info Display, and wireless Smartlink. It also features Cruise Control, Keyless GO, Park Distance Control, and a rear-view camera. The Sportline trim adds 18-inch alloy wheels, a black styling package, full LED headlights with Dynamic Light Assist, Keyless Entry, Top Area View 360°, sports seats with lumbar support, a leather steering wheel, and wireless phone charging. Optional upgrades include adaptive cruise control, a panoramic roof, and a 9.2-inch navigation system.

The 2024 Škoda Karoq is priced from $28,000 or AED 102,844 approximately (VAT included) and is now available in Škoda showrooms throughout the region.
