Few cars require a wild and loud paint color, and Lamborghini is on this shortlist. If you’re getting one, it should be a requirement that it be lime green, magma orange, all shades of yellow, or even light purples. They’ve made it easier to get the most unique and wild colors possible with their in-house Ad Personam program.
To show off the possibilities, Lamborghini brought out the new hybrid Urus SE with a vibrant paint scheme. Two hundred and thirty hours were required to bring the livery to life. The blues, greys, and black seen on the car were said to be inspired by the city of Miami where it was released at a private event.
“With this authentic piece of art, we have created the most sophisticated livery ever seen on the Urus, to inspire our customers with graphics that underline the outstanding proportions and the iconic design of the car. We have reproduced our perfect vision of the vibrant Miami lifestyle and its diversity,” said Mitja Borkert, Design Director of Automobili Lamborghini.
Notably, the Urus SE used is the brand’s first PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) and the entire Lamborghini lineup is fully hybridized! Thankfully the gasoline engines being used are still quite something special in themselves, such as the Temerario with a twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain that was also on display at the same event.
“We are always excited to bring true innovation and artistry to Miami, especially during this moment when the city is filled with inspiring creatives, designers and artists,” remarked Winkelmann. “With demand for Lamborghini vehicles at an all-time high, I am very proud of this special Urus SE which highlights the infinite customization possibilities of our Ad Personam program.”
The customization program will be welcome to continue to drive sales for Lamborghini. They posted 8,411 deliveries this year as compared to the same time in 2023—an 8.6% increase in sales. If you’re looking for the Lambo of your dreams in a special color or custom scheme, they’ve got the program for you!
Cheers!
