Audi 2027 Q3 Has New Standard Equipment, Enhanced Driver Assistance, and Increased Towing Capacity

Audi’s Q3 line of vehicles has been upgraded for the 2027 model year. These upgrades have taken place across equipment, connectivity, driver assistance, and practicality. For example, the small SUV gets new standard equipment, revised option packages, and digital upgrades. The plug-in hybrid gets increased towing capacity.

What standard equipment has been added to the 2027 Audi Q3?

In 2027, the Audi Q3 comes with additional standard equipment that used to be available only on higher trims. It includes the convenience key, heated front seats, two-zone automatic climate control, and the rearview camera.

The manufacturer has also introduced three packages of optional equipment – Tech, Tech Plus, and Tech Pro. In accordance with one of these packages, consumers will be able to equip their vehicles with options such as a modified suspension, acoustic glazing, a Sonos audio system, lumbar support for the seats, and hold assist for the electromechanical parking brake.

What additional driver assistance features does the company offer?

First, the adaptive cruise assist system has been redesigned to include online data in calculations of vehicle speed and distance from other vehicles. Secondly, anonymised traffic data may be used by this system to control vehicle speed and maintain it within the average speed limits for a particular route.

Thirdly, parking functions have been broadened. Now, Park Assist Pro and trained parking features may be controlled via remote connection using the myAudi app. Finally, there is a new feature called Valet Mode that locks all infotainment system screens and controls when someone else is driving the vehicle.

What changes in lighting and utilities?

There has been no change to the lighting system in the new version of the car, as it still uses Digital Matrix LED lights that use micro-LED technology to adjust light distribution and avoid glare from oncoming traffic. It will also be able to provide navigational lighting guidance and allow the selection of different lighting signatures.

The maximum towing capacity of the plug-in hybrid Audi Q3 e-hybrid is now 2,000 kilogrammes (4,409 lbs), up from 1,400 kilogrammes (3,086 lbs).

What technological and connectivity updates have been made?

The infotainment system now uses Android Automotive technology, enabling applications like Microsoft Teams to run in the car without a connected smartphone.

Audi’s voice assistant has been upgraded to offer more in-car features using natural voice commands.
