Citroën unveils the My Ami Tonic

A special edition at the top of the range

The Ami is undeniably a commercial success. In order to keep the popularity of the electric small car at a maximum, Citroën is now launching a more upscale version of the vehicle. Don’t expect leather or any kind of over-equipment. The My Ami Tonic, as it is called, prefers to enhance its style with stickers all over the bodywork and the interior.

For example, there are touches of yellow near the indicators, contrasting with the black grille. In profile, small triangles are placed on the wheel arches while a black and yellow sticker with the word “Tonic” appears at the bottom of the doors. At the top, roof bars give the My Ami Tonic a crossover look. They are purely for aesthetic purposes and are not functional.

The same story on board, where the red straps of the standard model are replaced by yellow straps. The bag holder is also yellow and the floor is covered with all-weather floor mats. Nothing has changed on the technical side. The My Ami Tonic retains an 8 PS electric motor coupled with a 5.5 kWh battery for a range of 43 mi (70 km).
