Infiniti launches the QX60 luxury SUV in the UAE

Comes fresh with an all new cabin and exterior design

2021 saw Japanese carmaker Infiniti unveil its all-new luxury three-row SUV, the QX60. Though now, the QX60 finds its way to the Middle East with its unveil in the UAE region planned for this summer.

Infiniti claims the all-new second-gen Infiniti QX60 has been imagined from the ground up. Hence, it comes with all-new exteriors, updated interiors with the latest in technology and stiffer mechanicals for additional strength.

An origami-inspired signature mesh grille dominates the front end with a slim LED headlight setup. The rear also sees an overhauled tail lamp setup positioned against a piano black panel. The new QX60 can also be had in a two-tone black roof combination.

Inside, the QX60 is a leather-rich affair. The steering wheel, seats and the dashboard adorn a heavy layer of leather. Ambient interior lighting, heated and eight-way power-adjustable seats with massage function, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and Infiniti voice recognition are some more prominent features. Access to the third-row seating has further been made easy via a one-touch slide-and-tilt function equipped on the second row.

While the rest of the car receives significant overhauls, the powertrain is where Infiniti has cut some slack. Hence, the new QX60 gets powered by the same 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine from the previous iteration, making 295hp. It gets mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and boasts a towing capacity of more than two tonnes.

Test drives for the all-new Infiniti QX60 will be available in the UAE from June 2022.
