The thrilling Dubai International Baja will mark the conclusion of the 2023 cross-country rallying season

All top three contenders of motorcycle Baja World Cup race for title glory

The weekend spanning between 10th to 12th November will witness Dubai host the Dubai International Baja that pulls the curtains down on the 2023 international off-road rallying season.

The cancellation of the Jordan Baja renders the Dubai International Baja as a title decider event with numerous titles up for grabs for both the FIM motorcycle Baja World Cup and most of the car classes of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas.

The current standings suggest the overall car championship has already been decided in favor of the Qatari off-road driver Nasser Al-Attiyah and his new Prodrive Hunter, he’ll have to battle out the final race against a quality field comprising FIA overall ‘21 and ‘22 World Title winner Yazeed Al Rajhi and Argentina’s Juan Cruz Yacopini.

The leaderboard of the motorcycle Baja World Cup is building up to be a winner-takes-all grandstand finish to the season with all top three contenders – Megre, Al Balooshi and Pedro Bianchi Prata, holding a realistic chance to title glory.

The 7th edition of this desert classic event kicks off in Festival City in Dubai on Friday, November 10th, with the evening prologue stage offering spectators a chance to see all of the competitors in action ahead of Saturday and Sunday’s cross-country legs. For the second year, ENOC Group will provide Dubai Baja participants, organiser vehicles and Search and Rescue helicopters with different types of high-performance fuel.

Khalid Ben Sulayem, President of the Emirates Motorsport Organization (EMSO): “We are delighted to continue the collaboration with ENOC. ENOC Group and the more than 30 subsidiaries operating under their umbrella are globally recognised as a synonym of excellence, development and performance. Strengthening bonds between our organisations can only enhance the experience of everyone involved in the Dubai International Baja. At an event which asks so much of competitors and machinery, competitors and teams are the obvious beneficiaries, but it is we as organizers that can really understand and benefit from the extent of the support received from partnering with ENOC.”
