Chery’s Omoda & Jaecoo has inked a memorandum of understanding with Galadari Brothers Co LLC to accelerate its entry into the UAE market. According to the paperwork, the latter has become the first official dealer for the China-based automaker in the UAE. Galadari will set up separate showrooms and service centres across three emirates: Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
Omoda & Jaecoo plans to hit the ground running when it launches operations in the UAE, its chosen hub for the Middle East region, in January 2025. It has adopted a strategy of onboarding multiple dealer partners to provide potential customers with a complete range of sales and service solutions nationwide, i.e., in all seven emirates.
Among the product introductions planned for the UAE market are two flagship models – Omoda C5 and Jaecoo J8.
