Kia Tasman Makes A Strong Debut In The UAE

Kia Middle East and Africa successfully concluded its UAE Tasman Roadshow at A1 SPACE on Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, UAE

Building on 20 years of off-road research and expertise, the Kia Tasman is designed to excel in diverse environments while maintaining its everyday practicality. It combines rugged durability, advanced technology, and SUV-like interior comfort.

The Tasman has exterior lines from the outside that blend a boxy design that enhances the executive vehicle’s on-road presence with rounded curves that give it a sporty feel. The same sporty feel provides it with a distinct youth touch while at the same time benefiting from a premium design that significantly distances it from appearing like a vehicle used by maintenance teams or workers.

Kia Tasman offers industry-first factory-backed customisation, allowing customers to customise their vehicles from the ground up with 12 original customisation options. It offers nine exterior colours and four interior colour combinations, including Espresso Brown and Clay Brown.

The Kia Tasman boasts the latest technology, including Kia Connect Car Services, which offers more than 50 smart features to enhance safety and convenience. Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA), over-the-air (OTA) updates, and a premium Harman/Kardon sound system enhance the driving experience.

The Tasman also boasts an impressive 252mm ground clearance and a class-leading 32-degree approach angle in the X-Pro variant. With a payload of up to 1,195kg and a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes, the vehicle has undergone 1,777 tests over 18,000 cycles.

Kia has committed to sustainability in the Tasman’s interior design, which uses bioplastics, recycled PET fabrics, and eco-friendly paint solutions.

The Kia Tasman will have two engines: a 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine mated to either a six-speed or eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Kia Tasman will be available across the region starting in August of this year. The suggested retail price in the UAE starts at AED 118,290 or 32,144 USD for the Base LX 2WD trim, while the top-of-the-range X-Pro+ trim starts at AED 178,090 or 48,394 USD. Prices include 5% VAT and exclude accessories.
