Porsche is expanding its 911 lineup with three models. The latest version of the Carrera 4S is now available as both a Coupé and a Cabriolet. With the Targa 4S, these models extend the range beyond the more powerful GTS models, bringing the total number of all-wheel drive 911 models to six.

Around half of the customers who choose the S models of the 911 opt for all-wheel drive, as it ensures maximum traction in adverse weather conditions, particularly in regions with variable climates or challenging road conditions. The S models are designed with rear-oriented driving dynamics. When needed, Porsche Traction Management (PTM) delivers more torque to the front axle, increasing traction and driving stability. As with previous models, the clutch assembly in the front differential, which remains water-cooled, is electromechanically controlled. The gear ratio has been modified only slightly.

The new all-wheel-drive 911 models adopt the improved drivetrain of the Carrera S. Its 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, twin-turbo boxer engine produces 480 hp, 30 hp more than the previous model. This performance improvement is partly due to an improved intercooling system, the design of which is derived from the 911 Turbo. The eight-speed Porsche Dual Clutch Transmission (PDK) transfers power to all four wheels. The 911 Carrera 4S Coupé accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in 3.3 seconds (with the Sport Chrono Package) and reaches a top speed of 308 kmph.

The Porsche 911 Targa has witnessed continuous engineering and design evolution over six decades and is now considered an icon in its own right. Since 2006, the 911 Targa has been available exclusively with all-wheel drive, and Since 2014, the fully automatic roof mechanism has been introduced, transforming the coupé-like sports car into a convertible in just 19 seconds. The glass rear window folds back, elegantly folding the roof. The current Targa roof is available in four colours: black, blue, red, and brown.

The 911 features 20-inch/21-inch Carrera S wheels in a sophisticated design, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), and a sports exhaust system with the distinctive 911 sound. The braking system, derived from the GTS models, is also standard, featuring red brake callipers and discs measuring 408 mm in diameter at the front and 380 mm at the rear. The 911 Targa 4S comes with rear-wheel steering as standard, while the Cabriolet and Targa models are equipped with rear seats. The rear seat system can be fitted at no extra cost. Additionally, LED matrix headlights and wireless smartphone charging come as standard equipment. Other features include power-folding exterior mirrors with ambient lighting, a lighting design package, and auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors with an integrated rain sensor. A wide range of customisation options is available upon request, including various colours and materials, as well as audio, assistance, and roof systems.
