Porsche will unveil the 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition at the sixth edition of Icons of Porsche, taking place from 21 to 22 November 2026 at The Square, Nad Al Sheba, in Dubai. Celebrating 70 years of Porsche in Kuwait, this limited-edition model embodies the 911 Turbo S concept while incorporating design references inspired by the country’s textile heritage.
This will mark the first public appearance of the special vehicle outside Kuwait.

What Is Al Sadu and What Does It Represent?
Al Sadu is a traditional wool-weaving technique native to Kuwait and practised by Bedouin communities across the Arabian Peninsula. The technique is recognised for its geometric designs, horizontal bands, repeated motifs and contrasting colours.
Traditionally, Al Sadu weaving was used to create tents and other household items. Its patterns also symbolise the cultural identity and traditions of local communities.
In 2020, the traditional practice of Al Sadu weaving was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
AlSadu Society, an organisation dedicated to preserving Kuwait’s textile heritage, provided cultural references and historical insights for the Porsche project.

How Was the 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition Created?
Discussions about creating a Porsche featuring Al Sadu patterns began in January 2022 at the regional office of Porsche Middle East and Africa.
The idea was presented to Porsche Centre Kuwait in March 2023, with representatives from both organisations subsequently meeting at AlSadu Society to establish a partnership.
The partnership was formalised in April 2023. AlSadu Society provided visual references and insights into traditional weaving techniques to support the design process.
This project follows an earlier collaboration between Porsche Centre Kuwait and AlSadu Society, in which the Taycan was used in 2024.

What Design Features Reflect Kuwaiti Heritage?
Designed through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition incorporates several design elements inspired by Kuwait’s traditional weaving patterns.
The design draws on the geometric patterns, recurring motifs and contrasting colours characteristic of Al Sadu. Its aim is to reinterpret traditional elements through a contemporary design language.
The car retains the distinctive identity of the 911 Turbo S while incorporating exclusive features created specifically for the Kuwaiti market.

Where Was the Special Edition Displayed?
Following its launch at the Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre, the car was displayed at various locations across Kuwait.
These included the Behbehani House Complex, Souq Mubarakiyah, AlSadu Street and Bait Al Arab, Kuwait’s Arabian Horse Centre.
The journey also included several locations across Kuwait City, highlighting the connection between the country’s cultural heritage and its modern architecture.

When Will the Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition Be Available in Dubai?
The special edition will be showcased at Icons of Porsche on 21–22 November 2026 at The Square, Nad Al Sheba, in Dubai. This will be the first time the car has made a public appearance outside Kuwait.
Only 20 examples will be produced, all exclusively for the Kuwaiti market. The manufacturer has not announced separate pricing for the Sadu Edition.
