Peugeot E-T16 Concept and RCZ Vision at the 2026 Paris Motor Show

Peugeot launches two world premieres, the E-T16 Concept and RCZ Vision, alongside the Polygon Concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The E-T16 Concept delivers 816 BHP, while the RCZ Vision achieves 500 BHP and offers a 600 km range with its electric powertrain. The launch was on the opening day of the 2026 Paris Motor Show, with the electric E-208 GTi, the 205 GTI, the 9X8 endurance racer, and Peugeot's passenger car range on display.

The 2026 Paris Motor Show, hosted by Paris Expo from 12 to 18 October, features three concepts and Peugeot’s newest passenger cars. The exhibition reflects the brand strategy for electric performance cars, digital cockpits, steering technology, and the legacy of the GTi range.

Highlights of the Peugeot Exhibition

Spanning an estimated 1,300 square metres, the Peugeot booth occupies Hall 4. The models on display include concept cars, sports cars, Peugeot passenger cars (Peugeot 208 to 5008), and electric and hybrid vehicles.

The sports line-up includes the new E-208 GTi, the 1986 Peugeot 205 GTi, and the 9X8 endurance-racing car. Activities at the booth will revolve around French craftsmanship, rugby, motorsport, cinema, and Peugeot’s GTi heritage.

What Is Unique about the Peugeot E-T16 Concept?

The Peugeot E-T16 Concept celebrates the achievements of the Peugeot 205 T16 during the World Rally Championships in 1985 and 1986. Developed with Peugeot Sport, this model revisits Peugeot’s competitive spirit with a futuristic approach.

This concept engine produces 816 BHP and can accelerate from 0 to 300 kmph in 16 seconds. Moreover, it previews the designs of the future models, which include the digital i-Cockpit and Hypersquare steering control.

The E-T16 Concept represents Peugeot’s vision for the future of the high-performance electric hatchback. The production plan, price, and release date have yet to be confirmed.

What Technologies Does the Peugeot RCZ Vision Use?

The RCZ Vision is inspired by the Peugeot RCZ coupé, which was released between 2009 and 2015. It follows the Feline Future design language, with a sleek body style and reduced geometric forms.

This concept uses the STLA One platform, a solid-state battery developed in collaboration with Factorial Energy and a 1,000 V electrical system. Peugeot specifies a power output of 500 BHP, an electric range of 600 km, and energy consumption of 11.5 kWh/100 km.

Transparencies of MicroLED screens and the Hypersquare steering control are included in the newly designed digital cockpit. These specifications are concept-only, and Peugeot has not yet released the car’s release date or price.

How the Polygon Concept Shows Future Steering Technologies?

The Polygon Concept is a development concept Peugeot uses to showcase technologies that will appear starting in 2027. The key component of this concept is Hypersquare steering control combined with steer-by-wire technology.

Steer-by-wire technology uses electronics to replace the mechanical connection between the steering control and the road wheels. Peugeot claims the technology could improve steering response and reduce effort during low-speed manoeuvring.

Two simulators are on display to let visitors experience how the technology works. The Polygon Concept previews a modified three-claw signature lighting that will be used to design future Peugeot models.

What Performance Does the Peugeot E-208 GTi Have?

The E-208 GTi is Peugeot’s production model on display in the performance zone. It produces 281 BHP and accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.5 seconds.

As the first fully electric GTi, it continues the performance legacy dating back to the 205 GTI, produced four decades ago. Peugeot Sport and Peugeot Design produce the E-208 GTi in France, and it was exhibited in Okenite White alongside its predecessor and the Peugeot 9X8, which is competing in the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Which Updates Relate to Peugeot Passenger-Cars Line-Up?

The new versions, Allure Plus and GT Plus, will replace the Allure and GT options for all models ordered from 1 October 2026. They come as standard, with no price changes, but with some variations per model.

Moreover, the duration of included Connect PLUS services will increase from six months to four years for models with the standard navigation option or an added optional navigation system. The warranty period covered by Peugeot CARE is eight years in major markets, according to local market conditions.

When Are New Peugeot Vehicles Released?

The Paris Motor Show runs until 18 October 2026 at the Peugeot stand in Hall 4. Both the E-T16 Concept and RCZ Vision are concept cars, and their release date and pricing are currently unknown. The Polygon Concept offers a look at technologies under development for release from 2027.

The E-208 GTi is a real vehicle, but pricing varies by location. Peugeot’s new equipment options cover the model line-up ordered from 1 October 2026. Customers may contact local Peugeot dealers for pricing in USD, delivery dates, specifications, and warranty information.
