Tata Celebrates 2 Million SUV Sales

Tata Motors has been in the SUV game since 1991. That’s when the Sierra compact SUV was launched in the Indian market. From that and through the Safari Stormes, the Indian auto giant has grown its passenger car business multifolds as it presently sells four SUVs powered by diesel, petrol and electric powertrains. The modern-day SUVs – Safari, Harrier, Nexon, Punch – have pushed the lifetime SUV sales for Tata Motors past 2 million (20 lakh).

To celebrate the occasion, the automaker has introduced a range of benefits for all its SUV offerings under the ‘King of SUVs’ festival. The starting prices of the Safari and Harrier models have been revised to INR 15.49 lakh and INR 14.99 lakh, respectively. That’s not all, as buyers can get benefits of up to INR 1.4 lakh on popular SUV variants. Those planning an EV from Tata Motors can get a Nexon.ev and Punch.ev with benefits worth up to INR 1.3 lakhs and INR 30,000, respectively. These offers will apply to bookings made on or before July 31, 2024.
