British marque Morgan Motor Company teamed up with Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina to create the Midsummer, which was unveiled in May last year. Just 50 examples of this beautiful barchetta are planned; spotting one on the move will be a rare sighting. The first owner in the Middle East, an Abu Dhabi-based Emirati collector, has just taken delivery of a Morgan Midsummer. The handover ceremony was conducted at the brand’s Dubai showroom, owned and operated by Adamas Motor Group, Morgan’s exclusive retail partner in the UAE and Bahrain.
Here’s what Karl Hamer, the CEO at Adamas Motor Group, said in an official release:
We are thrilled and honoured to officially present the first Morgan Midsummer to one of our valued customers in the UAE. The new Midsummer received an overwhelmingly positive response in the region, which speaks volumes about the demand for Morgan’s timeless design and craftsmanship. This delivery is a real testament to our commitment to providing exceptional automotive experiences to our clients and we look forward to c continuing to develop Morgan Motor Company in our core markets of UAE and Bahrain.
The Midsummer is a Morgan special project. It showcases a blend of incredible craftsmanship by two of the most experienced coachbuilding brands in the world. While Morgan’s typical silhouette of designing cars is evident, Pininfarina added its flair to make the sportscar a true head-turner.
