The ongoing Dubai International Boat Show 2025 held at Dubai Harbour served as the fitting platform for Honda’s MENA (Middle East & Africa) division to showcase its complete lineup of BF Marine Engines. Honda’s line-up of BF marine engines already comprises the portable BF 2.3 for smaller boats to the large range BF250 V6 that offers a blend of strength and efficiency.
However, the 2025 Dubai Boat Show witnessed Honda unveil the newly launched BF300 and BF350 V8 marine engine, capable of setting a new benchmark in the Super Large category with its superior power and performance for serious boaters. The new Honda BF300 and BF350 borrow technology from Honda’s automobile division as they come equipped with the renowned VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) technology. Impressive acceleration with reduced noise and vibration comprise the new V8 marine engine’s characteristics to offer a smooth experience on the water.
While the onboard VTEC technology kicks in for heightened top-range performance, the BF300 and BF350 also get BLAST (Boosted Low-Speed Torque) for powerful low-end torque and ECOmo technology for fuel-efficient cruising. Apart from Honda’s iconic Aquamarine Silver, customers can also opt for Honda cars’ famed Grand Prix White colour scheme for the new V8 engines.
For ease of use, Honda Marine has further installed features like Cruise control to ensure steady navigation, a tilt limit feature that prevents over-trimming when docking, and a new Flush Mount Control integrated with Honda’s DBW (Drive By Wire) system that offers a 5-button multi-function panel for precise control.
The rest of the Honda Marine engine line-up includes a vast Large Range section (BF115, BF135, BF150, BF175, BF200, BF225 & BF250) which incorporates similar technologies found in the supe large V8 range, followed by the Mid Range section (BF50, BF60, BF80, BF90 & BF100) designed for outstanding acceleration, low emissions, and smooth operation and the Portable Range (BF2.3, BF10, & BF20) – a perfect solution for boaters seeking compact, fuel-efficient and lightweight power without compromising on performance which makes it a favourite among recreational boaters and commercial users alike.
