Rolls-Royce launches the new Ghost Series II in the UAE

The new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II is the most technologically advanced Rolls-Royce ever

November 2024 saw luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce host an exclusive launch event at The Atlantis Royal to unveil the new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II and its daring counterpart, Black Badge Ghost Series II in the heart of luxury, Dubai. The Cornea Impression was invited to this exclusive event as well.

“Ghost Series II remains a uniquely expressive and agile representation of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, blending serenity, elegance, and technological innovation in one striking package. Building on its renowned character, this iteration combines a potent V12 engine with advanced chassis technologies, making it the most driver-focused Rolls-Royce motorcar to date. At the same time, meaningful design, and material updates, tailored for Bespoke expression, ensure that Ghost Series II continues to serve as a powerful canvas for our client’s creative visions.  I am delighted that this motoring masterpiece has arrived in Dubai and look forward to seeing our clients’ imaginations come to life in Ghost Series II and Black Badge Ghost Series II.” Mamdouh Khairallah, Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai.

Rolls-Royce claims the new Ghost Series II is the most technologically advanced and driver-focused V12 Rolls-Royce yet. Mechanically, it remains unchanged while boasting the 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine mated to an eight-speed gearbox spending power to all four wheels.

Cosmetically, the new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II follows Rolls-Royce’s modern monolithic design language with a revised minimalistic front fascia. The headlights are now slimmer with new LED DRLs while the Pantheon grille gets illuminated. The rear features tail lights inspired by the Spectre EV and the rim options extend to new 22-inch designs which can be optioned in either polished or semi-polished accents.

The interior boasts a host of upgrades comprising a miniaturised Spirit of Ecstacy now placed within the dashboard, a digital speedometer that can mimic the exterior paint shade, a new Duality Twill upholstery fabric made out of bamboo, a new Grey Stained Ash wood trim that took Rolls-Royce four years to develop and speakers now featuring within the starlight headliner to create an immersive audio experience.

“Dubai is a city that embodies luxury, innovation, and ambition. It is a place where the pursuit of excellence and Bespoke craftsmanship is not just appreciated but celebrated. The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II, with its timeless elegance and cutting-edge innovation, aligns perfectly with the spirit of this vibrant city. As we unveil the Ghost Series II and Ghost Series II Black Badge today, we are not only showcasing the pinnacle of automotive artistry but also reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to the discerning clientele here in Dubai, where the standard of luxury is unparalleled.” James Crichton, Regional Director Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Middle East & Africa.
