2024 Changan CS95 Launched In The UAE

It’s available in only one variant – Royal.

China’s oldest automobile manufacturer – Changan – has strengthened its UAE portfolio by introducing the 2024 CS95. The seven-seat SUV is available in one variant, Royal, priced at AED 130,000. The model features design updates, including new two-tone paint schemes, a massive chrome-studded grille, sporty side skirts, and 20-inch wheels.

Powering the 2024 Changan CS95 is a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 233hp and 390Nm of peak torque. Mated to the powerplant is an 8-speed automatic transmission, which feeds the power to the wheels via a four-wheel-drive system. And depending on the situation, the driver can choose among three drive modes – Snow, Sport and Eco.

Features? The 2024 Changan CS95 has a panoramic sunroof, power-folding and heated ORVMs, DRLs, and auto-headlamps. The list also includes powered and ventilated front seats with a memory function for the driver, ambient lighting, three-zone automatic climate control, a wireless mobile charger, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, build-in navigation, support for Android Auto and a 10-speaker sound system.

The 2024 Changan CS95 is well covered for safety and assistance systems also. Besides packing six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system, the SUV offers Lane Change Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection System and Traffic Jam Assist.

By default, the 2024 Changan CS95 comes with a 6-year/250,000km warranty. And it is available in three exterior finishes – Andes Gray, Black-and-White and Black.

In the UAE, there are three showrooms, one each in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. And for the record, Union Motors is the country’s official distributor of Changan Automobiles.

New-Gen Bentley Continental GT Debuts Next Month

It’s been only a few days since Bentley confirmed a few juicy details about what will replace its iconic W12. The Brits have now confirmed the new powertrain’s first project – the fourth-generation Bentley Continental GT. And it isn’t far from shedding its cover, as you can see here. In fact, we’ll get to see it in full next month.

As you’d expect, not much has been unveiled as of now. But we know the “Ultra Performance Hybrid” powerplant will deliver a whopping 782ps of power and a mammoth peak torque of 1,000Nm. Courtesy of the electric motor and a battery to back it up, the new-gen Continental GT will also be capable of travelling 80km with zero local emissions. Another astonishing figure for the brand is a WLTP-certified CO2 figure of less than 50 g/km.

Backing up the new powertrain and its massive power reserves will be an active all-wheel-drive system with torque vectoring, four-wheel steering, an electronic limited-slip differential, 48V electric active anti-roll control and new dual-valve dampers. Of course, new design and a variety of modern-day creature comforts will also play their part. Put all those facts together, and the takeaway is this: the new-gen Bentley Continental GT will be the most powerful, dynamically capable and sustainable luxury grand tourer in the company’s history.
