The A4 is one of Audi’s best-selling cars in India. In addition to its potent package, buyers adore its understated yet sharp design the most. To shake things up a bit in the model’s world, Audi India has introduced a limited-edition derivative of the sedan in question. The Audi A4 Signature Edition starts at INR 57.11 lakh, the same as the Technology variant it is based on.
So, what are the highlights of the Audi A4 Signature Edition? It features unique styling elements inside and out and extra features. The list includes new inlays in wood oak, Audi decals, dynamic wheel hubs, a spoiler lip for a sportier profile, key cover in customisable colour options, stainless steel pedal covers, and a new alloy wheel paint design. The A4 Signature Edition also has Park Assist with a 360-degree camera, Audi rings entry LED lamps, and a premium fragrance dispenser.
The rest of the package, including the powerplant, remains unaltered. Under the bonnet is a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 201 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The 7-speed automatic transmission harnesses the oomph and feeds it to the front wheels. The sedan can hit 100 kmph from nothing in 7.1 seconds and clock 241 kmph flat out. A 12-volt mild-hybrid system aids fuel economy and the engine.
The A4 Signature Edition also packs a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system with an output of 755 watts, powered front seats with memory function, three-zone automatic climate control, Audi phone box with wireless charging, a three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel, and Audi’s MMI Navigation Plus with a digital instrument cluster. The A4 Signature Edition is available in five metallic colours: Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Progressive Red, and Manhattan Grey.
Audi India hasn’t mentioned how many units of the A4 Signature Edition it will offer. That said, anyone planning a sedan in that price range must check it out. Compared to the standard Technology variant, the A4 Signature Edition offers better value and a unique style.
