2024 is the year of Maserati’s 110th-anniversary celebrations. This is a significant anniversary in the history of Italian and world motoring, which the company has chosen to celebrate with a unique series of GranTurismo.
Named “110 Anniversario”, it is based on the electric Folgore version and is available in 110 customisable units in two contrasting colour combinations.
To create the particular 110th anniversary version of the GranTurismo, the Modenese engineers started from the Folgore version which, in two configurations of 55 units each, was enriched with two special body colours, Ramae Folgore and Blu Inchiostro, combined with dedicated finishes, special wheels with “black and copper” details and, respectively, interiors in Econyl denim or black with copper or blue stitching.
But that’s not all. In fact, the House of Trident has also created a new celebratory logo, which sees the Trident followed by the number “110” in unique inclined lettering positioned on the car’s C-pillar.
The same logo will be placed on another car of great importance for Maserati: the Tipo Folgore electric single-seater, due to take part in the first race of Season 11 of the top all-electric series, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, in São Paulo, Brazil on 7 December. The single-seater will take to the track with the new blue and rose gold livery embellished with the 110 tribute logo beside the cockpit.
The new Maserati GranTurismo 110 Anniversario will be presented to the Italian brand’s most fortunate customers during the Trident Experience, a two-day event organised by the company to celebrate this important anniversary with its most passionate guests and customers.
The mission at Maserati is to write the future of mobility in the luxury segment, focusing on its customers’ requests. This mission continues 110 years later and finds its impetus through the “GranTurismo 110 Anniversario” special series, which looks ahead to the future and once again takes Italian luxury all over the world.
The company has not yet announced prices for each of the 110 copies of the special GranTurismo, but one thing is certain: You will have to hurry to get one.
