The new MG HS SUV launched in the UAE at AED 84,500

Britain-origin carmaker MG launched the all-new MG HS SUV in the UAE. The launch was hosted by Inter Emirates Motors, the exclusive distributor of MG cars in the UAE, thereby also declaring the availability of the new MG HS SUV across all of the brand’s showrooms located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Prices for the new MG HS SUV start at AED 84,500. 

Building on the success of the first-generation MG HS, which was voted Middle East Car of the Year by a panel of industry experts in 2020, the all-new model boasts a sporty new design that helps it stand out in the competitive mid-size SUV segment. Striking new exterior design updates include new  ‘Hunting Eye’ LED headlights and ‘The Shard’ full-length LED tail lights. 

The interiors have also been revamped and now feature dual 12.3-inch HD screens, premium materials for the upholstery, a panoramic sunroof and memory seats for the driver and the passenger. It also boasts creature comfort features such as dual-zone air conditioning, rain-sensing wipers, a wireless phone charger, and seamless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. 

Safety has also been given high priority on the new MG HS as it proudly carries the five-star Euro NCAP safety rating along with six airbags. Driver assistance systems can also be found in abundance with the likes of Level 2 ADAS comprising Intelligent Cruise Control, Automated Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, 360-degree HD camera, and front and rear parking sensors getting equipped. 

Under the bonnet, two efficient yet powerful engines are on offer – a 173hp 1.5T engine paired to a 7-speed gearbox and a 231hp 2.0T engine paired to a 9-speed gearbox.
