The Escalade IQL is here with big power and a bigger size

This big EV has the presence of the Escalade, with big horsepower, quick charging and the size you want

The Cadillac Escalade has been the biggest export of American luxury for years now. Seeing the writing on the wall for the coming avalanche of electric vehicles, Cadillac has decided to electrify the Escalade, but there was some room for a slightly larger version we’ve already seen. Enter the Escalade IQL.

First off, the numbers: 750 horsepower, 785-pound feet of torque (1064 nM), 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, and an estimated 460 miles (740 km) of range from the 205 kWh battery. It can tow up to 7500 pounds (3400 kg) on it’s 24” wheels and 35-inch tires (88.9 cm). Granted you’ll take a hit to the range while towing but you can get 116 miles (186 km) of range in a mere 10 minutes of charging on a DC fast charger.

Size-wise, this Cadillac has a longer silhouette than its smaller non-L version. The eTrunk (their name for a frunk or front trunk) has 12.2 cubic feet of storage and out back, there are three rows of seating and plenty of storage behind it. With an available Executive Second Row package, like the IQ, the IQL benefits with additional 3rd row leg room and more headroom. The third row is power, folds flat, and a total of seven seats can be found inside.

On the dash you’ll find a 55-inch total diagonal display from pillar to pillar with unique dedicated Escalade IQL graphics to remind you which Cadillac you’re in. AKG Studio provides a 21-speaker sound system with available 38-speaker and even 42-speaker available with the Executive Second Row package. They’ve even added the V2H bidirectional charging in case the mansion loses power.

The Cadillac Escalade IQL starts at $132,695 and will be offered in four trims: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport.

Cheers!
