BMW M celebrates the Nürburgring’s 100th anniversary with six exclusive special-edition cars, including the M2, M3, M4 and M5 models, featuring unique Nürburgring-inspired styling.

What is the “100 Jahre Edition”?

BMW is celebrating 100 years of the Nürburgring by introducing six special-edition M cars. The Special Edition lineup is called the 100 Jahre Nürburgring” – the range follows a central Nürburgring-inspired theme, celebrating the shared technical past between Nürburgring and high-performance BMW machines.

For years, BMW has used the complex and technical layout of the Nürburgring to develop their cars – integrating race car technology into road-going models – which made our beloved M cars iconic.

Which M models are included?

The BMW M 100 Jahre Nürburgring Edition includes:

  • BMW M2

  • BMW M3 Sedan

  • BMW M3 Touring

  • BMW M4 Coupé

  • BMW M5 Sedan

  • BMW M5 Touring

What makes these cars visually special?

The BMW M 100 Jahre Nürburgring Edition cars feature exclusive Nürburgring Green paint, while Sapphire Black metallic is available as an option with green accents.

The “100 Jahre Nürburgring” edition features a host of subtle visual elements celebrating the Nürburgring, such as a “100 Years” anniversary logo, “Nürburgring since 1927” lettering, Nordschleife silhouette graphics and edition-specific graphics on the doors, C-pillars and rear sections.

Further visual highlights include special roof stripes with black M logos, green accents on selected wheels and kidney-grille elements, black leather interiors with contrasting green-and-white stitching, Nürburgring-themed front headrest embroidery and anniversary-branded door sills.

The M2, M3 and M4 feature M Alcantara steering wheels with green-and-white stitching. However, the M5 Sedan and M5 Touring models receive special M leather steering wheels.

The BMW M cars come equipped with advanced performance technology developed with the racetrack in mind. All six models also benefit from BMW M’s Nürburgring-focused development, including performance-oriented chassis tuning, braking systems, aerodynamics and thermal management.

How rare are these models?
