Land Rover Classic Announces Off-Road Drive Experience

On November 9, 2023, Land Rover Classic will have a full-day off-road drive experience in the openness of Eastnor Castle and Estate. This event is limited to nine driving spaces to ensure attendees spend the maximum time tackling the rough stuff. The drivers will get to explore the off-roading limits of Land Rover vehicles on a designated route. Part of it will be the original route from the 1970 Range Rover press launch and a drive alongside the inaugural Gearbox hill – among the largest test hills on the site, which has been used for refining off-road capabilities since 1960.

The attendees will have a selection of Land Rovers to experience, including the early Series I, Series IIa, first-gen Range Rovers and the modern-day Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy Edition. And yes, trained professionals will provide one-on-one instructions to guests so they can experience the tougher terrains.

The activities will include re-enacting one of the challenges from the original Camel Trophy and G4 competitions. Then, later, the guests will have a chance to participate in a tour of Land Rover’s Classic Works and private collection.
