Dubai Police Welcomes A McLaren Artura

To boost the UAE’s commitment towards furthering collaboration between government bodies and the private sector, Dubai Police has announced a partnership with McLaren Dubai, Performance Tuning L.L.C., part of the Juma Khalifa Al Nabooda Group. Under this collaboration, the enforcement entity has added a McLaren Artura to its famous fleet of exotic patrol cars.

The McLaren Artura is a plug-in hybrid supercar that debuted in the UAE late last year. Underpinned by a McLaren Carbon Fibre Lightweight Architecture, the two-seater speed machine packs a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6, an electric motor and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The total system output is 671hp/720Nm, which is enough for a 0-100kmph sprint time of 3 seconds. Keep the throttle pinned to the floor, and the car will hit 200kmph and 300kmph in 8.3 seconds and 21.5 seconds, respectively. On electric power alone, the McLaren Artura can travel up to 31km (WLTP).
