The first Tourbillon customers began customising their future supercars in personalised configuration sessions at Bugatti’s historic headquarters in Molsheim or one of Bugatti’s partners worldwide.
The term “Équipe Pur Sang” —literally “thoroughbred team”—adorns a kit that transforms the Tourbillon into a motorsport-inspired interpretation of the latest Bugatti model, evoking the heritage of Bugatti’s venerable motorsport division.
At the rear, carbon fibre engine covers are flanked by a bespoke eight-pipe exhaust system, complemented by a modified rear diffuser, improving the car’s aerodynamics and downforce.
As per the wheels, each model is uniquely designed and manufactured. It features different sizes for the front and rear—20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear—and it also differs for the left and right thanks to its directional design.
Inside, the Équipe Pur Sang theme continues with the intricate stitching on the dashboard and headrests. The option includes a black Poly interior and a carbon fiber mid-set, creating a cockpit that balances luxury and practicality. the Équipe Pur Sang specification also includes the optional Performance Seats, upholstered in Alcantara, as standard.
Alongside the Équipe Pur Sang equipment, customers can choose from a wide range of options. The combination possibilities are endless, from 23 new exterior colours to 20 new leather types, 10 new Alcantara options, and seven new carpet colours. The analog instrument panel alone offers numerous configurations, with components crafted by Swiss watchmakers to the highest quality standards, comparable to the finest timepieces in the world.
The car features an all-new 8.3-litre naturally aspirated V16 engine, producing 1,000 hp, and three electric motors producing an additional 800 hp. The Tourbillon is lighter than its predecessor.
Only 250 examples of the Tourbillon are available worldwide, with a starting price of 4.1 million USD.
