Chaos Karting opens in Dubai to bring video game power ups in real-world go-karting

March 2024 will witness Dubai receive a one-of-a-kind live-action go-karting experience called Chaos Karts. It’s designed to bridge the gap between the virtual and physical worlds by throwing digital projections with an augmented reality experience without the need of a headset or a personal screen. This allows visitors to ‘battle’ each other around 20-minute circuits to acquire jewels and power-ups, including laser guns, hammers, speed boosts, bombs, and the dreaded EMP as they race to the finish line in their electric karts. The virtual environment further lets players choose from a variety of track designs ranging between the Arabian desert to the cosmos. Prices for Chaos Karts start from 104 AED and the activity is located in Al Quoz. Ticket sales begin on January 10th via Fever (feverup.com) with the activity opening its doors for visitors from March 10th, 2024 onwards. Players can further try more fun and challenging games such as a laser maze, target shooting maze, zip-line, and more in The Cube, Chaos Karts Dubai’s dedicated immersive game space.
