Maserati showcases two cars at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Grecale SUV and the MC20 sportscar will attempt the famed Hill Climb.

It is an important year for Maserati. Having three new cars in their lineup, they need to go all out to win the hearts and minds of their potential customers. And what better place to do that than at the Goodwood Festival of Speed Hill Climb 2022?

In the sportscar territory, they have the brilliant-looking MC20 in two versions. One is the hardtop, and then there is the even more brilliant-looking MC20 Cielo spyder. There is a lot going on for the MC20 in terms of design, engineering and performance. The MC20 boasts of the new F1-derived Nettuno engine. The engine produces 621 HP and does the 0-100 kph dash in 3.3 seconds.

The MC20, even though it is the cooler car, it is the brand new Maserati Grecale SUV that will be putting bread on the table for Maserati. To emphasize this, the brand had their brand ambassador David Beckham show up to the event in the Grecale SUV wearing the Trofeo garb.

The Grecale is Maserati’s answer to an everyday luxury SUV. The Grecale will be available to customers in three versions GT, powered by a four-cylinder mild-hybrid engine capable of delivering 300 hp; Modena, with a four-cylinder 330-hp mild-hybrid engine; and Trofeo, powered by a high-performance 530-hp petrol V6 based on the MC20 Nettuno engine.

Both the MC20 and the Grecale Trofeo will attempt the Hill Climb and then be on display for spectators.
