Chinese carmaker Hongqi hosted a head-to-head influencer launch competition at the Berklee, Saadiyat Island Abu Dhabi, to unveil the all-new Hongqi HS7 sports-luxury SUV and H6 performance-oriented luxury sedan.
Leading automotive influencers were split into two teams, tasked to procure more likes from followers based on the information teased about both models. This ultimately led to the unveiling of the cars, placed behind special screens which gradually became opaque and then fully transparent for the reveal.
Hongqi describes the all-new H6 as a luxury sedan where ‘elegance meets innovation’. It boasts a sleek aerodynamic design, with dynamic LED tail lights, premium leather upholstery and a 12-inch digital instrument cluster. Powering the H6 is a 2.0-litre Turbo engine delivering 252hp.
The new HS7 is aimed towards drivers looking for a balance between power, luxury, technology, and space – all in one package. The HS7 will offer owners ergonomic seating, a panoramic sunroof, an advanced infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, Bose surround sound system, All-Wheel-Drive and a turbocharged engine.
