Citroen Launches C4X In The UAE
The crossover is powered by a turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine.
UAE became the first market in the GCC region to welcome the new Citroen C4X. The crossover debuted in Dubai earlier this week and is now up for grabs in Feel Pack and Shine derivatives. Both house the same powertrain. However, as you’d expect, they distance themselves based on their respective feature lists. The starting price is AED 94,950.
What is essentially a sibling to the C4, the C4X is powered by a turbocharged 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 130hp/230Nm. The job of harnessing all the oomph and feeding it to the front wheels is handled by an 8-speed automatic transmission. As per Citroen, the C4X can return a mileage of 17.8kmpl. The car measures 4.36 metres in length, 2.03 metres in width and 1.52 metres in height.
Features? The Citroen C4X has a head-up display, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keep Assist, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels and a wireless mobile charger. The features on offer also include a 7-speaker sound system, support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, Driver Attention Alert, LED-powered headlamps and taillamps, auto-dimming IRVM, push-button start and front and rear fog lamps.
The four-door Citroen C4X, having seating for five, is a good-looking family wagon. And the large boot space can be made larger still by folding the rear seats down. In the UAE, the Citroen C4X is available in six colours – Polar White, Steel Grey, Platinum Grey, Pearlescent White, Perla Nera Black, and Elixir Red. For the interior, the buyer can choose among three themes.
