Audi‘s 2026 A3 range has been refreshed with various updates, including a redesigned interior, new digital screens, and improved driver-assistance technologies. The updates have been introduced across all variants of the A3 range, including the Sportback, Sedan, allstreet, plug-in hybrid, and high-performance S3 and RS 3 variants. The new enhancements were made to improve usability, connectivity, and driveability while keeping the wide variety of body shapes and engine options across the model range intact.
What Has Changed Inside the Vehicle?
One of the biggest changes has been the redesigned cockpit inside the 2026 A3 range, where Audi has introduced the new panoramic display screen.

The dashboard, too, has been redesigned, now boasting a wide decorative trim band running across the interior from the instrument panel to the passenger seat. There are four different trims for buyers to choose from: carbon fibre, Dinamica microfiber, and two textile types, Light Crepe and Impressum Black.

There have also been changes made to the centre console. The wireless charging pad for smartphones has now been designed to face the driver’s side and supports charging speeds up to 25 watts.
What Changes Has Audi Made To Improve Everyday Usability?
Physical scroll wheel controls have been added to the steering wheel in all Audi variants. Buyers can choose from three steering wheel designs: two double-spoke and one three-spoke, flat-top and bottom.
Which New Driver-Assistance Systems Are Provided?
A new A3 offers an updated suite of driver assistance systems, available in packages Tech, Tech Plus, and Tech Pro.
An important system is the Adaptive Cruise Assist Plus system, which combines adaptive cruise control with lane-centring assistance. It works at speeds up to 210 kmph and helps control the direction and speed of driving on equipped automatic transmission cars.
Other functions include automated lane changes on highways using a turn signal. Moreover, the system can automatically stop the car at red traffic lights and resume the ride.
Another innovation from Audi includes greater use of online traffic data. This data helps navigate through lanes and adjust speed, even when road markings are not quite visible. The availability of online functionality lasts for 3 years from the date of car delivery.
How Does the New Parking Technology Work?
The latest version of the A3 features 360-degree camera technology that uses four cameras to give the driver an idaea of what’s around the car. The camera’s various viewing angles are displayed on the infotainment screen.
Park Assist Plus and Park Assist Pro not only steer the car in and out of parking spots but also handle speed, braking, and gear changes for the driver.
Remote Parking is another new feature that allows the driver to control the parking process from outside the car using the myAudi application on their phone.
One other feature is Trained Parking. In this feature, the car learns five different parking manoeuvres performed by the driver at distances up to 50 metres and repeats them automatically later.
What Has Been Added to the Car Digitally and Connectivity-Wise?
Audi’s connected services have been improved via the myAudi app, which allows one to remotely control the car’s position, parking brake status, lights, and whether doors and windows are left open.
The myAudi app provides information about the car’s condition, including mileage, fuel level, driving range, tyre pressure, oil level, and scheduled maintenance. The functions of remote locking, unlocking, and aux-heating control are also available.

Additionally, the company still uses Functions on Demand, enabling some software-driven functionalities to be turned on after the purchase. The list of new audio functionalities includes bass optimisation, volume balancing among audio sources, and virtual surround sound environments.
Availability and Price?
Audi’s refreshed 2026 A3 range will come in many body styles and engine types, including gas, diesel, plug-in hybrid, S3, and RS 3 versions. The company has stated that the redesigned interior, additional driver assistance, and digital technologies will become part of the range. Pricing for the individual models and trims will differ per market and is yet to be disclosed. More specific information on the specifications, pricing, and availability dates will be shared later, closer to the launch of the models.
