Audi Teases The Q6 e-tron

What you see here is a heavily wrapped electric vehicle that Audi calls the Q6 e-tron. It’s being tested in northern Europe and is already close to its production guise. The upcoming EV, slated to debut later this year, will be available in standard and Sportback forms, as we’ve seen with the Q8 e-tron and the Q4 e-tron. However, the Q6 e-tron will be the first of several planned models spawned by PPE – Premium Platform Electric. It’s a new architecture that Audi has developed in collaboration with Porsche. And one of the many flexibilities it’ll offer is an 800-volt electrical architecture. Audi has also confirmed that by 2025, it’ll introduce over 20 new models, of which more than 10 will be electric.

Get Ready For The MG Comet EV!

Morris Garages India has announced the name of its upcoming EV. Dubbed Comet, it’ll be a tweaked version of the Wuling Air EV, a compact hatchback sold in markets like Indonesia. The ‘Comet’ name derives inspiration from the 1934 British aeroplane, which participated in the England-Australia MacRobertson Air Race. The EV will be a city runabout, and it is expected to deliver a range between 200-300km with a full charge. MG India hasn’t revealed any specifications but has confirmed that the EV will feature connected-car technology.
