Audi Q4 35 e-tron Is The EV’s New Base Variant
You can have it in an SUV or a Sportback form, with the latter offering a slightly better range.
Ever since Audi introduced the Q4 e-tron back in 2021, the model has gone on to become the bestselling EV for the brand with the four rings. To make things even more enticing, Audi has devised a new entry-level derivative – the Q4 35 e-tron. It’s available in both body styles – SUV and Sportback – just like the other variants.
The Audi Q4 e-tron specification ropes in a single electric motor that outputs 168bhp/310Nm. The sprint from nothing to 100kmph takes 9 seconds, and the top speed is 160kmph. The powerplant draws its juices from a 55kWh battery (52kWh net), which can be replenished with DC electricity feeds of up to 145kW. Under ideal conditions, the wait time from 10 to 80 per cent charge is 25 minutes. Furthermore, a 10-minute charge at maximum power can add up to 125km of range in the SUV and 130km in the Sportback. As for the range, the SUV-shaped Q4 35 e-tron can travel up to 355km, while the Sportback can go on for an extra 10km.
Starting in July of this year, all variants of the Audi Q4 e-tron will have access to the Audi Application Store for the first time. The store lets buyers download various applications that cover news, sports, entertainment, and games without needing a smartphone. A 25GB data package is included for the first year. Moreover, ChatGPT will be integrated into the online voice input across the model range. This enables enhanced voice-based control of functions such as infotainment, navigation and air conditioning. 19-inch wheels, 60:40 split rear seat, Audi Virtual Cockpit, heated front seats, multiple drive modes and powered boot lid (with foot gestures) are also among the features listed in the Q4 35 e-tron.
Prices? In Germany, the Audi Q4 35 e-tron starts at EUR 45,600. In Sportback form, the starting price jumps by EUR 2,000.
