Mercedes teases interior of all-electric EQE SUV

The SUV will be revealed on October 16

Mercedes has shared a preview of the interior of its upcoming all-electric EQE SUV and, you guessed it, it HAS got the MBUX Hyperscreen. You really know the drill with these Mercedes interiors now, don’t you?

Before you ask what kind of an SUV the EQE is knowing that we have got an EQS, here goes: the EQS SUV was the SUV version of the EQS sedan, the same way Mercedes is calling the EQE SUV as the “multi-purpose variant” of the EQE sedan.

The EQE SUV will be built on Benz’s EQ electric platform and inherit “key innovations of the EQS” and be “one of the most spacious” SUVs in its class with loads of head-, leg- and elbow-room while also debuting an avantgarde architecture theme.

The avantgarde architecture theme is basically a blend of traditional and modern materials that one will find in the EQE SUV’s interior. It’s basically got cool colours like Neva Grey and Biscay Blue/Black which showcase a techy and cool car with Balao Brown bearing the flag as the warm colour present in the cabin.

Various elements of the cabin include aluminium, 3D anthracite, fine metal pigments and wooden trim along with a centre console that “is free-standing in space.”

There’s no word regarding the powertrain or exterior photos, however, Mercedes has revealed that the EQE SUV will be making its debut on October 16.
