VinFast opens new dealership in the GCC market

Vinfast partners with local UAE firm to develop EV infrastructure in the region

VinFast, a subsidiary of Vingroup, Vietnam’s largest private conglomerate, recently opened its first dealership in Dubai. VinFast’s new Dubai dealership spanning over 1,000 square meters marks VinFast’s debut in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market. The entire VinFast electrified model line-up comprising the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9, will be stationed for display at the new showroom to reflect VinFast’s intentions of supporting the Middle East’s transition toward a less oil-dependent economy that is focused on green mobility.

VinFast’s show of support towards the Middle East’s green mobility strategy goes beyond offering electrified products. VinFast will also be aiding in developing the EV infrastructure in the region as it announces its partnership with Charge&Go, a UAE-based company, to build a public charging network.

The trend of local entities collaborating with foreign companies extends to Indonesia too as V-GREEN, another company tied to VinFast’s founder, Pham Nhat Vuong, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prime Group, a leading Middle Eastern firm, to develop 100,000 EV charging stations in Indonesia. These partnerships held by Vingroup substantiate its vision of “building interconnected ecosystems that foster global innovation while supporting sustainability.”
