Kia launches the new Sportage L in the Middle East

September 2024 witnessed Kia Middle East and Africa launch the new Sportage L in the region. The new Kia Sportage L’s launch was accompanied by an exclusive drive event in Salalah, Oman. The new Kia Sportage L is a long-wheelbase derivative of the longstanding Sportage banner spanning over 30 years in Kia’s stable. Kia claims the new Sportage L features a longer body and best-in-class wheelbase to offer superior interior space and up to 1,829 litres of luggage capacity with the second-row seats folded. A dual 12.3-inch panoramic screen, 64-colour mood lighting, and Surround View Monitor are some modern-day creature comforts offered with the new Sportage L. Powertrain options comprise a 197hp 1.5-litre turbo engine and a 233hp 2.0-litre turbo engine, both only getting paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. McLaren Strengthens Presence In The UAE With New Service Outlet

For those McLaren customers residing in Abu Dhabi, UAE, there’s been a significant development. The British manufacturer of supercars has inaugurated a new aftersales facility at the McLaren Abu Dhabi dealership, located on Airport Road in the Umm Al Naar area of the country’s capital.

The newly opened service facility is staffed by McLaren-trained professionals. Moreover, the centre has HV-certified engineers trained to provide optimal service levels for McLaren’s hybrid cars, including the Artura, the Artura Spider, the P1, and the Speedtail. The 352 sq.m. real estate features seven service bays, enough to service up to 50 vehicles monthly.

The service centre is adjacent to the 250 sq.m. temporary showroom facility. Opened last year and owned by Abu Dhabi Motors, the showroom has been a key contributor to the brand’s increasing presence in the Middle East.

Icons of Porsche 2024 tickets are now available online

Tickets for one of the Middle East’s biggest car festivals, Icons of Porsche, are now available to buy online. Interested enthusiasts can buy a single-day pass for AED 30 per person or a two-day weekend pass for AED 50 per person via IconsofPorsche.com. The Icons of Porsche, now in its fourth edition, will be held at the same venue, The Slab’ in the Dubai Design District, as the previous edition but between 23-24 November 2024. Additionally, Porsche has decided to expand the event precinct by almost one-third to over 40,000 square feet this year and double the food vendors owing to an overwhelming interest in 2023. Porsche claims the 2024 event will feature both world and regional premiere unveils along with rare models from the Porsche Museum collection in Stuttgart, Germany expected to be in attendance for display.
